Vittoria Company Training Day 18 Feb 2012

SITUATION

1.         A Vittoria Company Training Day is scheduled to take place on 18 February 20112.

2.         The training day will take place at Gordon Barracks, Aberdeen.

MISSION

3.         The aims of the event are:

1. Brief all Company CFAV and Cadets on upcoming events for 2012.

                                            i.             Company Training Events

                                          ii.             Senior Cadet Training Events (Coy, Bn, SCIC, CLC)

                                        iii.             Easter Camp

                                        iv.             Bn Military Skill Competition

                                          v.             First Aid Training (including competitions)

                                        vi.             Adventurous Training

                                      vii.             Shooting

1. Brief all Company CFAV and Cadets on Company Standards and Expectations.
2. Brief all Company CFAV and Cadets on Annual Camp 2012 administrative requirements.
3. Brief cadets over 13 years and 6 months old on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme within the ACF.
4. Brief cadets over 15 years and 6 months on the BTEC qualification scheme
5. Conduct training and testing in the following

                                            i.             Review of cadet achievements to date

                                          ii.             Basic Training – Drill, Turnout, Military Knowledge, Map and Compass, Fieldcraft

                                        iii.             One Star – First Aid, Archery

                                        iv.             Two Star – Drill, Turnout, Military Knowledge, Shooting, Archery

                                          v.             Three Star – Map and Compass, Expedition Training

4. Names of cadets and CFAV attending this event must be submitted to Battalion Headquarters no later than 1200 on 09 February 2012.
