Cadet Leadership Course at Frimley Park

The following CLC Courses are to be held at CTC Frimley between 4-24 Jul 10:
a.Course No 10/01: 4 – 10 Jul 10
b.Course No 10/02: 11 – 17 Jul 10
c.Course No 10/03: 18 – 24 Jul 10
Aim. The aim of the course is to develop the cadets’ initiative and self-reliance by exercising them in problems of practical leadership.
Eligibility. Courses are open to senior cadets of the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), the Army Cadet Force (ACF), the Air
Training Corps (ATC), all 3 Service Sections of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and overseas cadets as directed by HQ RF. Cadets must meet the following criteria:
Cadets are to be between 16 and 18 years 9 months at the start of the course. However, the course is aimed at those cadets with 1-2 years left to serve (the 16-17 year olds), to allow them to use CLC attendance to progress in the Cadet Forces.
Those nominated are required to have passed the following as the minimum qualification standard for attendance:
(1)CCF Cadets: Army Proficiency Certificate (APC)
(2)ACF Cadets: APC at 3-Star level
(3)SCC/ATC Cadets: An equivalent qualification
Cadets should not have attended any CLC or Master Cadet Course previously.
Interested? Names should be given to your detachment commander, to be approved by your company commander and passed to the Battalion Training Officer no later than 28 February 2010.
