SOP v5.1 released

The latest version of SOPs, version 5.1, has been released.
Details have changed regarding procedures for CTC Boddam and Detachment Commander Contingency plans.

1. JSP535 (Red Book). Chapter 4 Paragraph 0411(a) (1) line 2: Tel No. not correct – should read 01452 519957
2. Also note duty number for the following:

This contains a number of updates, including a flowchart of the Authority to Train process, as well as update to the Command Group conference structure and the introduction of Training Wing conferences.

BSOP 2-3 IT Systems has been updated. The Personal use form has been split into two seperate forms for personal equipment and equipment owned by other organisations, such as employers. The employers from now asks for less information.
CFAV are reminded that, if they use work IT equipment to store or process ACF information, then the system must be accredited. Most employers have policies in place stating that any equipment

JSP 535 2008 Version

Following the issue across the Battalion last week of JSP 535 2008 Version, a new assessment has been produced.
All CFAV will be expected to complete this new assessment within the next couple of months.
The new assessment can be completed online by logging in and following this link.
Training for the new A2 Rifle will also commence soon.
