BTT - CFAV Training

The Battalion requires more adult instructors to have Adventure Training Qualifications, so that we can provide a wide range of AT activities for the cadets.

CCAT (Cadets Centre for Adventure Training) run several courses a year from Hill walking to Rock Climbing to Kayaking. for more dtails, please look at the link http://www.armycadetadventure.info/. There are a couple of courses available that CCAT do not have available, like Mountain Biking Leader etc. so we are not restricted to only what CCAT can provide.

A lot of these courses take a long time to become qualified but if you have an interest in doing any of them then please phone or email me so we can discuss your options. If you have started

any National Governing Body qualifications please let me know so that I have a record of what you are trying to achieve.

Also we are provisionally booked to have an AT weekend from the 23rd - 25th April 2010. Can everyone who has an AT qualification and is willing to help out on this weekend drop me an E-mail?
